If you are looking for something quick and sweet to knit this week-end we suggest you get a couple of balls of our lovely Lamora and give a try to Valentina Cosciani‘s new hat for men and women The five towers, enterely done in the round and with a simple knit and purl motif. This hat is provided in three different sizes to fit just about anyone’s head. The Five Towers is part of the new collection of patterns by Valentina Cosciani inspired by the “Monti Pallidi” (Pale Mountains), a chain of mountains in the Italian Dolomites.

These moountains are an extraordinary shade of gray and the “Torre Grande” main peak has a very unusual flat summit; The Five Towers is an unusual cylindrical hat, inspired by the particular shape of the Torre Grande’s summit. The Anguane, mysterious creatures similar to woodland nymphs, are said to live in the Cinque Torri.

The five towers’ pattern can be purchased through Ravelry, it costs 3 euro.
