Purl Soho’s scarf

We often talked about patterns for our yarns, but this is the first time we talk about our fantastic fabric Lana Cotta, a lightweight felted wool fabric that’s pliant and suave. Our friends at Purl Soho used this fabric to create an incredible sewn scarf made of triangles cut in bias and assembled together.

The three suggested color matches

This scarf is made up of four triangular modules cut in half on the bias and assembled in an alternating pattern to construct a scarf. An easy seaming pattern that requires a few straight seams and very little finishing since Lana Cotta’s felted consistency will keep the edges from fraying. This also makes it an excelent pattern for seaming beginners. Purl Soho also picked three favorite color parings to make it easier for its clients to consturct the scarf, but do feel free to make other choices if you prefer.
