This cardigan is knitted seamlessly bottom-up on a circular needle for the body and the yoke, while the sleeves can be knitted on a long circular with the magic loop method or on a set of DPNs. This makes it a very fast and finish-free knit.
The baby cardigan uses only the most basic stitches, stockinette, garter and a touch of ribbing. The three colorful buttons make it very girly, but it’s essential enough so that it would be enough to switch the placement of the buttons and choose wooden or metal ones to make it a boy’s garment. And in case you prefer knitting with a slightly cheaper yarn, our cashmere blend LanaCashmere is still cashmere-rich and soft and knits at the same tension as Luxor.
