OXO Headband

Our fantastically soft SoWool lends itself beautifully to cable knitting, as is shown clearly in this lovely pattern. The “OXO headband” is a quick and interesting knit that uses only one ball of Lanecardate HandKnitting SoWool, an ultrasoft chunky 100% wool with a wonderfully soft feel. Should you prefer an even more precious yarn, you may want to opt for SoCashmere, its cashmery sister: you will just have to buy two balls of the cashmere yarn because it’s sold in 25 grams balls (and with exactly half the yardage).

The OXO Headband is worked simply in a strip from side to side, the intricate cabling require the mastery of just two types of 4 stitch cables, so this headband is the ideal piece to refine one’s cabling skills. Once bound off, the headband is sewn up in the back to join it into a ring. Also, it uses just a little bit of yarn making it the perfect splurge if you want to make it with SoCashmere.

You can purchase the OXO Headband from the designer’s Ravery.com Store for as little as 2 euro.
